I am Natarsha Holmes, founder of Market My Skills, Career Coach and true believer in the power of a fulfilling career. We all know that skills and experience are important when it comes to engaging a person to work with, so here is a bit of an overview of mine.
I have been working as a Career Coach since 2011 and recently completed a Graduate Certificate in Career Development at Swinburne University. I also have over 20 years’ experience in sales, marketing and business development, working in government and large corporations. The industries I have worked in include Retail, Tourism, Telecommunications, Education, Mining and Manufacturing.
As a professional member of the Career Development Association of Australia (CDAA), I am very proactive with ensuring my professional skills are up to date through training and professional development. I am also bound by its Code of Ethics and adhere to the Professional Standards for Australian Career Development Practitioners.
I have a true desire to help people secure the best career possible and enjoy what they do on a daily basis. I know first-hand what it is like to have a fabulous job where you are surrounded by wonderful people who become your “second family”. This can be a life changing experience. But, on the other end of the scale, I also know what it is like to have a job that makes you feel miserable and stressed.
So what do my qualifications and experiences mean for you?
Firstly, my qualifications mean you are engaging a skilled Career Coach, who is dedicated to ensuring you receive reliable advice. As for my experiences, they are what lead me to create Market My Skills and provide a service that has a positive impact on people’s lives.
I am passionate about helping people take a proactive and positive approach with their career development. My objective is to change people’s lives in the most positive way by mentoring, coaching and empowering them to discover and achieve their career goals. By providing ongoing career advice, you will feel supported and confident throughout your journey with me.
I take a very pragmatic and logical approach to career development. I will help you explore your truth, discover your story and how it has brought you to where you are today. This story can change, moving forward, in the most positive ways through listening, empathising and developing strategies that will help you take steps towards your goals and dreams. We work together on what opportunities there are in the market place, where you want to go, why you want to aim for this path and then how we will get you there! It’s very exciting!
